He dragged her back, no way in hell was he going to let her walk away from him again ‘what did I ever do to you?’ His voice was shaky, he tried his best to hold it down ‘I gave you all of me, it still wasn’t enough to make you happy, I sacrificed my time, my money, my love, everything I live for I sacrificed for you’ he was beginning to raise his voice now. ‘You told me you would grow to love me, you told me I was your everything, five good years and I’m still begging you to love me. Five!!! I don’t know what it is, probably you’re in denial because how do I explain that you’re not in love with me but you die every time you see me with some other woman, how do I explain that you claim not to love me yet I’m the only guy that appeals to you. Do I even call this a relationship?’
‘Lower your voice, this is my office, people are listening’ she whispered with fear in her eyes.
He began to calm down, her eyes were everything, he had been nursing this thought of her being a witch, whenever he was angry, her watery-like glassy eyes did the trick, she would stare at him with pain in those eyes and how would he resist?  His inner beast knew better than to mess with her emotions.

‘Babe I’m calm, but today we have to finish this one. Do you want us to call this thing we’re having off? He turned his back at her.

‘Is it just a ‘thing’ to you? What we share? Is it a thing?’ She asked, low enough to be called  whisper but high enough for him to hear.

‘That is what you’ve turned it to babe, a thing!!! For the love of God, I’ve loved you for five years hoping you would love me back, you promised you would love me back. To the whole world we’re perfect but you and I know we’re living a lie. You do not love me’ he was beginning to raise his voice again.
‘I do’ she shouted.
He turned to face her, for the first time today, her voice had come out more than just a whisper. He was getting somewhere.
‘Of course you do’ he laughed sarcastically ‘that is why we share all this love like hatred between us. Every single time you treat me like a piece of shit’ he slammed his fist against the wall ‘I’m suffering because of you and for what? Because your ex boyfriend cheated on you, because you have trust issues’ he hit the wall again. ‘Babe that was six years ago, we’re matured now, we know our lefts from our rights’
‘Its hard’ she began ‘Its hard to live with this love I have for you, it really is. Just because I’m scared, all I ever tried to do was shield my emotions from you but babe I love you dearly’ she was crying ‘I know its hard to believe me, I know I’ve hurt you, I know five years is a long time to wait for someone to love you, but I’m trying, I’m trying to forget, trying to put everything behind me, trying to bring myself to come to terms with the fact that you’re not that beast. But how can I? With you being a celebrity and with women jumping all over you like no man’s business. How can I? With women on Instagram and Twitter asking to warm your bed? How?’
He smiled. He should have known, so this was her problem all along? His celebrity figure, he began to laugh.
‘What’s so funny you fool’ she shouted, how dare he. Laugh in the midst of all these rubbish.
‘Five good years of us being together and you couldn’t tell me that women on social media was the cause of this rubbish. Babe, you need to realize its just social network, no strings attached, its not too serious now. You know I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody’ he laughed uncontrollably.
‘Its funny? Its funny? I’d like to see you date everybody then’ she picked up her bag angrily and made for the door. He dragged her back and her chest bumped into his, he lifted her face to his and cover her mouth with his, he kissed her so hard that she forgot whose air she was breathing, three minutes of being locked in a world of their own, he released her, she was breathing heavily, no!! She was gasping for air.
He smirked ‘been long I had a feel of that. Babe, I belong to you and you alone’. He engulfed her in a tight embrace ‘I love you babe, forever and always’ and like the bad ass he was, he was gone, all she could hear was the door slamming.
She was dazed, the beeping of her phone brought her back to reality, she picked it up from the table, it was a message from him, she smiled as she opened the message, it read ‘pick you up at 8 babe, dinner’s on me’ she cupped her hands over her mouth and muffled a scream.
